Dear Readers,
the last years have indeed been a stunning ride. From the humble beginnings at the now-defunct beam magazine to my first own blog (TamsPalm), I have followed mobile computing first casually, then professionally.

In all this time, the BlackBerry was an oddball device to me. Running a custom OS expandable only via Java (a platform I thoroughly hate(d)), the device offered little I didn’t find on my Treo.

As time went by, I eventually decided to attend an university which insists on Java knowledge – and as device sales became higher and higher, I felt that there is quite a bit of money to be made in the market.

This blog will chronicle my BlackBerry experience – stay tuned!
