Handango is not too popular among developers due to their rather high commission rates and extremely difficult distribution agreement which puts a huge burden on developers (when I last checked) – nevertheless, almost all developers I interviewed have stated that most sales come from this channel.

According to PocketGamer, the folks are now 10 years old, and have revamped their web site in order to celebrate their birthday. The new layout is very special-offer-centric and is shown below – in case anyone of you wonders, most of the placements there are paid for by developers:

Sales-wise, the boys claim to have moved 100 million downloads with an average application price of 20$ over the last 10 years. While this number is huge on its own, it pales in comparison to Apple’s iTunes App Store: it moved 500 million apps (rather: games) over the last year.
