China has always been somewhat difficult for RIM: as carriers need to invest a significant amount of money in order to be able to offer BlackBerry handsets, no carrier picked them up till 2006.
Mobile Business Briefing now reports the following:
RIM’s BlackBerry smartphones were made available to consumers in China for the first time on Friday, after Digital China Holdings Ltd. launched retail sales, notes Dow Jones Newswires.
