Due to it being based on Android, the Google TV can easily be considered the most popular of all solutions available to the Apps-on-TV-crowd – if only it would be available outside of the USA.

According to BroadBandTVNews, Sony plans to deploy both a Blu-Ray and a network media player in August. The devices will cost between 200 and 300 Euros, visit the source for detailed launch plans.

Given that porting non-NDK Android apps apps is relatively easy, why not take a stab at coding?
